Are we racist?

I have never seen the liberal "main stream"(actually they are really out of touch with most Americans) media insert themselves into a campaign like they've been trying to help Obama. They're not even pretending to be objective anymore.
Now the latest talking point is that any white person who doesn't vote for Obama is a racist, even though he is completely inexperienced and unqualified (not to mention that he is the most liberal member of the Senate, and radically pro-abort).
I really resent that accusation. If Colin Powell or Condoleeza Rice ran, I could support them without hesitation. Either one of them has ten times Obama's experience.

Here's an idea: let's decide this election on issues and qualifications.
Obama's are zero.

I certainly would not support pro-abortion Powell or mildly pro-abortion Rice. Now Alan Keyes, Michael Steele and a host of others certainly.

For Democrats if a Black Republican looses it is never about race, but the opposite is not true.

I should have worded that better. I meant to provide Powell and Rice as examples of black people who are much more qualified than Obama to be President. Of course I couldn't support a pro-abort. But I could support Steele or Keyes, as you mentioned.

Who has said that anyone who votes for McCain is racist? What prominent media figure has said this? What major news network?

Checked the links.

I still have the same question. The articles you posted use statistics to suggest that the race issue may account for up to 6 percentage points for McCain.

I don't think the argument is that all people who vote for McCain are racist. A quick glance at your blog, and it appears to me you are opposing Obama because of his stance on abortion. The articles aren't criticizing you because you oppose Obama on the issues (or at least one issue). Instead, they're meant to highlight people who agree with him and still won't vote for him.
