I consider this good news. I have always wondered how an organization called National Organization "For Women" could so ardently promote abortion, which does so much damage to women. I pray that this will in some way change that.Kim Gandy, the president of the pro-abortion women's group NOW plans to resign her position at the organization's national convention later this week. The organization has been criticized during Gandy's 22-year tenure as a leader within the organization for misrepresenting women by promoting abortion.
The three-day NOW conference will be held June 19-21, at the Sheraton hotel in Indianapolis and the theme is Turning the Tide for Equality.
The theme "reflects the changing political landscape and renewed sense of hope for advances in women's rights," with pro-abortion President Barack Obama taking over the White House.
Gandy has been the president of NOW for eight years and spent more than two decades helping the pro-abortion group.
