Mike Huckabee Blasts False Notion That Common Ground Exists in Abortion Debate

Huckabee takes on the anti-lifers, and he is 100% correct.

In an interview with Jon Stewart of the "Daily Show" on Comedy Central last week, former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee blasted the false notion that common ground exists in the abortion debate.

The notion that there is common ground on killing children and hurting women has been repeatedly taken to task by pro-life advocates.  You either think it is okay to kill babies or you don't.

Huckabee said that abortion advocates don't want to give an inch in the abortion debate by accepting even modest limits on abortion such as parental notification, which would allow parents to know when their daughters are considering the life-altering decision.  Even if someone is pro-abort, how could they possibly think that a teenager old should be able to get an abortion without their parents knowing?  A hospital couldn't even remove their appendix without parental consent, but they can get an abortion?  That makes no sense.

It was for views like this that I was proud to work for him in NY state in 2008, and will do so again in 2012 if he runs for President again.
