Less than a week after Mitt Romney selected pro-life Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate, the Obama campaign is on the attack with a new ad going after the pair for their pro-life views opposing abortion. The attack comes in a new television ad released today.
During the 30 second commercial, which will run in Colorado, Nevada, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, and Iowa, the Obama campaign blasts them both for opposing taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest abortion business which does abortions on 91% of the pregnant women that comprise its customer base.
The Obama campaign ad also attacks Ryan for supporting legislation in the House that allows religious groups to opt out of the controversial HHS mandate that requires them to pay for and refer employees for abortion-causing drugs, birth control and sterilizations that violate their religious views.
